Refund or void an invoice
Cancel an unpaid invoice, or give money back on a paid one.
Which one you need depends on whether the member has paid:
- Not paid yet (green Pay button): void the invoice. It’s cancelled and can’t be paid.
- Paid (Receipt button): refund it, in full or in part.
- A recurring membership (Upcoming): cancel the subscription to stop future charges.
All three start from the member’s Billing tab. The … next to an invoice shows what you can do with it.
Void an unpaid invoice
Find the invoice

Pay
The invoice shows as Voided and the payment link in the member’s email stops working. This can’t be undone; if you voided by mistake, charge them again.
Refund a paid invoice
Open Refund
On the paid row (Receipt), click …, then Refund.Choose the amount
The full amount is filled in. Use Half or type any amount for a partial refund; Full puts it back.
Confirm
Click Refund $45.00 (with your amount). The row then shows Refunded, or how much was refunded for a partial refund. You can refund the rest later the same way.
The money goes back to the card the member paid with. Banks usually take 5 to 10 business days to show it.
Cancel a recurring membership
Click the × next to Upcoming and confirm Cancel subscription (or Keep it to back out). It ends right away and no more invoices are created. It doesn’t refund anything already paid: refund that invoice separately if you need to.
